Mark has retired from a nearly 40 year career in Family Medicine in Menomonie, where each of the nearly 1000 babies he delivered is good-looking and above average. He served as Practice Chair for the Mayo Clinic Department of Family Medicine and continues to teach and coach in the care of people with addiction in primary care.

Larry previously served as the Wisconsin Academy of Family Physicians Executive Director for nearly 27 years. He has a master’s degree in Healthcare Administration and is enjoying his time serving as a volunteer.

Jean Riquelme, MD is a family physician in Waupun, WI. She is previously a faculty member of both University of Wisconsin and the Medical College of Wisconsin.

Emily Peterson was born and raised in Wisconsin, completing her undergraduate, medical school and residency through the University of Wisconsin. Go Bucky!. She currently practices full spectrum family medicine in Beaver Dam, WI where she lives with her husband and 3 children. She is excited to help support the family medicine community and work towards the WAFP Foundation's vision of a family physician for all Wisconsinites.

Dr. Forsting is the Chief Physician Executive at Black River Health in Black River Falls, WI. She is a practicing family physician with special interests in rural medicine, women's health, pediatrics, and preventive medicine. She and her husband, Kevin, have three children who keep them very busy on the field, in the gym, and on the rink year-round.

As a Resident Director, I'm excited to help provide funding for students and inspire the next generation of Family Medicine physicians, as well as support programs and services intended to improve Family Medicine. Growing up in rural Wisconsin, I've always been interested in finding unique ways to support families and give back to the community which ultimately led me to this field. Volunteering throughout college and Medical School in many community organizations have inspired me to help improve the lives of those we treat as Family Medicine physicians.

In my spare time, I enjoy spending time outdoors running or riding UTVs with my fiance, and of course spending time with family and friends!

Dr. Suhail Shaikh serves as the Program Director of Mercyhealth Family Medicine Residency Program - Janesville. He also oversees the Mercyhealth Hospitalist Fellowship Program at Mercyhealth Hospital and Trauma Center, Janesville. Dr. Shaikh also completed a Master of Business Administration degree at Texas Tech University, Lubbock.

Dr. Sabrina Hofmeister is a family physician with a full-spectrum academic medicine practice in Milwaukee, WI. She enjoys being able to provide patient care to the community as well as train medical students and future family physicians. It is important to her to always be advocating for patients, the specialty of family medicine, and the profession of medicine in general, as health and wellness play a role in all aspects of our lives.

Brandon serves as the Executive Director for Wisconsin Academy of Family Physicians and oversees educational programming, including professional and personal development.

In his spare time he enjoys going on family walks and spending time outside.
